South

Sanctuary

Home is a refuge, a shelter from the storms, a sanctuary that steadies us when the world feels unkind.

The Setting

TUCKED INTO

The Trees

Tucked into a quiet corner of the John's Landing neighborhood on a private street that ends at the trees, the modest exterior gives little away. Step inside and the house opens into something unexpected — breathtaking sightlines, south-facing windows, and a forest that shifts with every season.

The Entry

AN INVITATION

To Serenity

The custom glass railings frame the treeline the moment you walk in. Descending to the main floor, the house gradually reveals itself — ceilings rising, windows multiplying — until you're standing at the bottom of the stairs looking south through eleven windows into the canopy, and you understand immediately why this place feels the way it does.

The Kitchen

A PLACE

To Gather

The kitchen was designed for gathering. The island runs deep — wide enough for two people cooking side by side, with room for four more to pull up a stool. Dark matte cabinetry meets white quartz, anchored by copper pendant lights overhead. A west-facing window catches the afternoon. A fireplace holds the far wall, beside the dining table.

The Living Room

A ROOM

Where Light Dances

Tall ceilings draw the eye up while extra-large south-facing windows draw it outward — into the trees, into the light, into a view that shifts through the day without ever feeling harsh.

The light tells time here. Summer's dense canopy filters the sun into dappled patterns; autumn turns the trees amber and the room glows with it; winter opens the bare branches all the way through. It's the kind of room that makes you want to slow down — to read, to host, to watch the season change through the glass.

The Primary

A RETREAT

For Recharge

The primary bathroom was inspired by a café we stumbled into while traveling in Bratislava — a space that invited us to recharge with it's warm wood, clean lines and organic tones. The soaking tub sits in its own niche framed by a window to the trees, beside a floating oak vanity and glass shower. Every detail considered, nothing in excess.

ESTATE SALE

Is Now Open

Every piece was chosen deliberately — for its material, its warmth, and its relationship to the spaces it would live beside. The full collection is being offered fairly to someone who will give it a second home.
